Background
From the Flight Deck to the Data Center
I spent 12 years in the U.S. Navy across three aircraft carriers before transitioning to IT. My first civilian role was at Lockheed Martin on a classified program. What followed was 30 years of building and leading the infrastructure that powers enterprise organizations.
Today I'm a Senior Manager at Children's National Hospital, leading the infrastructure team through a major EHR migration — while running this practice on the side.
The work I do here — coaching people on AI and building websites — is not a pivot away from my career. It's a direct extension of 30 years of solving technical problems for people who needed them solved.

Children's National Hospital (Aug 2023 – Present)
Senior Manager, Data Center & Infrastructure Operations — overseeing a 15-engineer Tier 3 team and Kyndryl-managed Tier 1/2 support. Responsible for infrastructure representing $10M+ in assets and contracts during the organization's enterprise migration from Oracle Cerner to Epic.
Accenture (Sep 2014 – Aug 2023) · 9 Years
Business & Technology Senior Delivery Manager — led the global virtualization team responsible for consolidating 17 data centers down to 10. Managed a globally distributed team of 16–32 engineers across six countries. Also delivered consulting engagements with the IRS and PHH Mortgage.
